So far, most tools are provided in each office. If you need more then here is where to find whatever you need in Abu-Dhabi or Dubai:
Ř
glossy paper: this is thick
and shiny paper that is used for presentation / protection. The recommended
size for this advertising is A4, and recommended weight per paper is 100g.
o Abu-Dhabi: you can get this at Abu-Dhabi Co-Op IT Shop for AED1 each.
o Dubai: you can get this at Mall of the Emirates' Carrefour for a
discounted rate.
Ř
transparencies: this is see-through
paper used for presentation, especially with a projector, but is very useful
for usage on the car windshield so it wouldn't cause almost any obstruction.
o Abu-Dhabi: I got some from a shop right next to Golden Sands Hotel on
Electra (7) and Najda (6) I beleive. I also heard it can be found at All Prints.
o Dubai: no idea where you can get this from.
Ř
book-jacket: this is the
transparent tape used mainly for protecting books, but can also used for
hanging advertisements and contact info and flyers
o you can find this at almost any bookshop, especially big book shops, especially
ones like Books Plus. You can also find this at big department stores like
Carrefour and Geant. Just make sure you buy the see-through type.
Ř staple: preferably a big one should be used, but the flexible type that you can open up to make it longitudinal
Ř
mild detergent: like
rubbing-alcohol, perfume, all-purpose cleaner.
1) print the ad on glossy paper. You can print 2 ads per A4 glossy paper using
the ‘stick ad - half size’ template. That is usually done by placing the used
paper with the printed ad up.
2) get the ad, book-jacket (the transparent book covering tape roll), pen,
and a scissor.
3) put ad on book-jacket to measure; make sure that all 4 sides are
equally distanced, and at least one inch off the ad.
4) mark where will cut the book-jacket
5) cut the book-jacket according to the marks
6) take the ad, book-jacket, mild detergent (like alcohol), and a tissue-paper
to the laptop. It's a good dea to take one extra (book-jacket and ad) in case
of error.
7) once at the laptop, peel off the book-jacket tape and put aside the
book-jacket paper
8) place the peeled book-jacket on a flat surface
9) carefully place the ad on the book-jacket (face down) by focusing on
one corner in accordance with the measurements made (so if you cut one inch
away off the ad then measure one inch away from the corner of the peeled book-jacket).
Afterwards, gently press the ad into the opposing direction, removing any
excess bubbles by pressing them outwards.
10) choose where you will put the sticky ad, however, you better place it
right in the middle
11) clean the area that you chose with the cleaning item of choice
12) carefully place the ad starting from the top side (making sure it is 100%
parallel) then slowly pressing it in a downward direction
13) if you make a mistake then do not worry: gently remove it starting from
one corner and repeat step '12'.

paper. You can print 2 ads per A4 paper using ‘stick ad - half size’ template; that

5) cut the book-jacket according to the marks
6) take the ad, book-jacket, rubbing-alcohol or glass-cleaner or perfume, and
a tissue-paper to the car. It's a good idea to take one extra (book-jacket and
ad) in case of error.
7) once in the car, peel off the book-jacket tape and put aside the book-jacket

excess bubbles by pressing them outwards.
10) rotate the rear-view mirror so that it is not blocking the place where
you will place the sticky ad.
11) choose where you will put the sticky ad, however, you better place it
on the windshield (in case you use sun-screen), and you better place it up on
the windsheild (down will partially block your view of the road, which is
hazardous)
a. if there's enough space (with the ad being viewable from the outside) behind
the rear-view mirror then choose it. I do not think it is a big problem if it
goes over the toll-tag (e.g. Salik) a little.
b. if there's not enough place behind the rear-view mirror then choose either the upper left or the upper-right or both
12) clean the area that you chose with the cleaning item of choice
13) carefully place the ad starting from the top side (making sure it is 100%
parallel) then slowly pressing it in a downward direction
14) if you make a mistake then do not worry: gently remove it starting from one corner and repeat step '12'.
1) print the ad on the glossy paper. You can print 2 ads per A4 paper using
‘stick ad - half size’ template; that is usually done by placing the used paper
with the printed ad up.
2) get the ad, book-jacket (the transparent book covering tape roll), pen,
scissor, and stapler.
3) put ad on book-jacket to measure; make sure that all 4 sides are
equally distanced, and at least one inch off the ad.
4) mark where will cut the book-jacket
5) cut the book-jacket according to the marks
6) take the ad, book-jacket, rubbing-alcohol, and a tissue-paper to the
bag. It's a good dea to take one extra (book-jacket and ad) in case of error.
7) once at the bag, peel off the book-jacket tape and put aside the book-jacket
paper
8) place the peeled book-jacket on a flat surface
9) carefully place the ad on the book-jacket (face down) by focusing on
one corner in accordance with the measurements made (so if you cut one inch
away off the ad then measure one inch away from the corner of the peeled book-jacket).
Afterwards, gently press the ad into the opposing direction, removing any
excess bubbles by pressing them outwards.
10) choose where you will put the sticky ad, however, you better place it
right in the middle, and you must choose an area that the stapler can reach
into all 4 sides, even if just using the actual stapling side from inside the
bag pocket to outside the bag pocket
11) clean the area that you chose with the cleaning item of choice
12) carefully place the ad starting from the top side (making sure it is 100%
parallel) then slowly pressing it in a downward direction
13) if you make a mistake then do not worry: gently remove it starting from
one corner and repeat step '12'.
14) staple from inside of the pocket to outside of the pocket since the end
of the staple won't show as much, and you can press it later since it is
outside. If you cannot have the base-end of the stapler against where you are
stapling then just use the stapling end but be careful not to staple your
finger into the bag, otherwise you'll get stuck with it for ever!
press any staples that did not properly capture the bag using a metal object like a knife's blunt side.
